Vodafone Uganda has officially announced its expansion to Seeta and Mukono. The announcement was made at a ceremony held at Uganda Christian University (UCU) main campus in Mukono on Tuesday. The expansion of the 4G technology is expected to guarantee ease in communication to steer the region to its full economic potential.
The company’s CEO John Ndego, said, “Expanding our network to Mukono and Seeta areas does not only align our brand ethos and vision to empower everybody to be confidently connected, but is also a critical pillar in our strategy to optimize our network.”
Progress Kisenga, the Vodafone Uganda Marketing Manager said this expansion will enhance the lives of the youth and facilitate the economy of Mukono and Seeta residents.
The telecom’s Head of Networking, Philip Tumusiime said, “Vodafone is coming to Seeta and Mukono as an enabler and partner to the youth and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This is a fulfillment of their promise that they are here to stay.”
The Vodafone signal site makes Mukono the third major district on Vodafone’s site expansion roll out plan after Greater Kampala and Entebbe.
